Project Settings & Management

Your Business Project is the container for everything in your Distancer.ai business — all of your Business Branches, settings, payment configuration, and public-facing content live here.

Project Structure

A Business Project consists of:

Component Description
Project Profile Business name, description, logo, and contact information
Business Branches Individual revenue streams (store, classes, consultations, etc.)
Payment Configuration Stripe account connection and billing settings
Public Pages Customer-facing content generated from your Branches

Project Settings

Basic Information

  • Business Name — Displayed to customers throughout your public pages
  • Description — A concise summary of what your business offers
  • Logo — Your brand mark, displayed in navigation and customer communications
  • Contact Email — Where customer inquiries are directed

Business Address

Required for payment processing compliance. Must be a valid U.S. address. This address is used for:

  • Stripe identity verification
  • Legal compliance and tax reporting
  • May be displayed on receipts depending on your configuration

Editing Your Project

All project-level settings are accessible from the Project Settings page in your dashboard. Changes to settings take effect:

  • Immediately in the Sandbox — You can review changes in real time
  • After publishing in Production — Live projects require an explicit publish action to update

AI-Assisted Editing

You can return to the AI Chat at any time to:

  • Brainstorm additions or changes to your project
  • Have the AI rewrite descriptions or suggest new pricing
  • Add new Business Branches based on new ideas

The AI modifies your existing project rather than creating a new one, preserving your previous customizations.

Project Lifecycle
