Teach Online Class

If you know how to make something, how to achieve some goals, or just how to become a better person - share your knowledge with other people. And get paid for that!

With the help of Distancer.me, offering online classes has become more accessible than ever before.

How it works

You start with creating a class Offer - a description for your class, and set a price you charge each student, and duration of the class meeting. Distancer.me creates a public page for your class and gives you a link to share with your prospective students.

In the Availability Calendar you create one or more time slots for the class, specifying the Start date and time.

Everyone who wants to attend the class will be able to select a time slot and provide payment for the class. You review and approve (or reject) every student request.

Distancer.me helps you collect payments, maintains the schedule, and provides virtual classroom with video, screen share, and chat for every device. During the video meeting Distancer.me monitors all connections to ensure that everyone is following the rules, calculates final payments and fees, and makes sure that you get paid on time.

Here are some tips
  • Prepare for the meeting: Make sure you have a stable internet connection and a good quality camera and microphone. You may also want to prepare an agenda or some discussion points to guide the conversation.
  • Start the meeting: At the scheduled time, start the video conference and greet your students. You may want to introduce yourself and provide some context for the meeting.
  • Engage with your students: Once the meeting has started, engage with your students by asking questions, answering their questions, and encouraging discussion. Keep the conversation flowing and make sure everyone has a chance to participate.
  • End the meeting: Once the meeting has come to a natural conclusion, thank your students for attending and provide any closing remarks. Make sure you close the meeting at the scheduled time - your students will not be charged and you will not get paid for any additional meeting time.
